Thermal preparation

The generation of regenerative Energy is a future technology. Due to global warming and the scarcity of raw materials the interest in and demand for new, innovative processes are increasing.

Thermal treatment of biomass such as wood or sewage sludge but also plastics or municipal waste represents an attractive alternative to conventional energy production.

G&A is developing a pyrolysis-process that becomes interesting by its rather low costs.

Pyrolysis principle

The input material reaches the indirect heated pyrolysis reactor where it is warmed up to 550 °C. The temperature increases up to approximately 1100 °C because of air introduction. It occurs that the high-molecular tars and oils are cracked. The exhaust pyrolysis gas is diverted by means of booster and chimney. It is burned in a combined heat and power station for the generation of electric energy. The heat of the motor exhaust gas is also used for drying the input material.
